My name is Li Jiang Hua, and I come from Hubei Province, China. I am a senior in the School of International Relations at the University of Shizuoka, studying security and political systems in East Asia. Before coming to Japan to study, I had lived in Shizuoka for about a month and found it to be a very comfortable place.
I was interested in Japanese education and decided to study here. I selected Shizuoka because my relatives live here, and my parents and I feel safe. I love Shizuoka’s rich natural surroundings and easy access to Tokyo and Nagoya. In addition, I can spend my time worry-free because international exchange events and support systems for international students are so well organized. After graduating from the university, I plan to go to graduate school to study native language education for foreigners.
In the future, I would like to create a comfortable living environment for the Japanese and foreigners in Shizuoka. For those who are thinking about studying abroad, I encourage you to engage in meaningful interactions with a variety of people both inside and outside the university to have a fulfilling experience.
