About the University
Hamamatsu Gakuin University and Hamamatsu Gakuin University Junior College, with its founding spirit of "the spirit of sincerity," cultivates human resources with the creativity and practical ability to respond to change.
Hamamatsu Gakuin University (four-year program) has two departments: the Department of Regional Bussiness Administration and the Department of Regional Childhood Education Studies. The Department of Regional Bussiness Administration, based on the concept of "co-creation," provides students with the skills necessary to properly manage people and organizations. It offers majors in Regional Policy (Management course and Policy course), Tourism, and Global Liberal Arts. The Department of Regional Childhood Education Studies trains educators and nursery school teachers with a high level of expertise and practical skills. Students can earn a Nursery Teacher Certificate, an Early Childhood Education License, an Elementary School Teacher License and Special Needs School Teacher License. Hamamatsu Gakuin University Junior College (two-year program) is the only junior college in western Shizuoka Prefecture that trains kindergarten teachers. It has an Early Childhood Education Department where students can obtain a Nursery Teacher Certificate and an Early Childhood Education License.
Living Environment
There are no residence halls for international students, but there are many apartments and studio apartments for students near campus. You can search for properties online, and real estate companies also offer a wide range of student housing options.

We have a system of class support tutors and student life support tutors to provide a wide range of support for international students.
