On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the Global Students & Shizuoka' Company Networking Event was successfully held at Shizuoka University.
The event attracted many students, especially from science and engineering backgrounds, and featured participation from 18 companies based in Shizuoka Prefecture.
We received positive feedback from company representatives, including comments such as, “It was a valuable opportunity to meet and connect with so many talented global students.”
One participating student shared, “I’m a first-year student and joined to explore internship opportunities. I’m glad I found a summer internship through this event.”
This networking event is a unique opportunity for students to talk directly with company recruiters or even top management. Many companies in Shizuoka are actively seeking to hire international students and are eager to engage in more interaction.
